The inaugural season of the Volleyball World Beach Pro Tour will pay a visit to one of beach volleyball’s iconic venues when an Elite16 event takes place in Hamburg, Germany from August 10 to 14. Ticket sales for the event have now been launched.

The event in northern Germany will bring the world’s beach volleyball elite back to one of the sport’s hot spots for the first time since 2019 and the success of a memorable edition of the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Championships.

Fans are set to get another blast of the beach volleyball experience as the world’s top teams travel to Hamburg for an Elite16 event. The best pairs will battle for medals, valuable World Ranking points and a share of the USD 300,000 prize purse. With only 16 men’s and 16 women’s teams making it to the main draw, the competition format guarantees a top-calibre spectacle.

German beach volleyball fans, who inspired their compatriots Clemens Wickler and Julius Thole on the way to a 2019 World Championship silver, will have several strong teams to get behind, including Karla Borger and Julia Sude, Sandra Ittlinger and Isabel Schneider, Cinja Tillmann and Svenja Muller, Sarah Schulz and Chantal Laboureur and Clemens Wickler and Nils Ehlers, who will rely on their cheers as they play for Elite16 honours.
